Day 5: Sunshine

Summary: Elain makes the best of her life in the Night Court, and yet, she still finds herself longing to escape into dreams about a certain mate she has barely even spoken to.

But when her dreams begin to suggest something sinister at play, and Lucien doesn’t arrive at his weekly meeting in Velaris, Elain finds herself on a rescue mission further out of her comfort zone than she could have ever imagined.

She prepared for bed, the effects of the wine making her steps falter slightly. A giggle tumbled out when she didn’t quite make it to the bed in a straight line. She wasn’t sure if it was the wine making her giddy, or the thought that she might see him, as she eagerly slid under the sheets. She tucked herself in, hands clasping the blankets, then pulled them up to her chest and closed her eyes, waiting for sunshine.

Ahhh!!!! Well it is safe to say that I have been doing well to make sure my WIPs are complete!!

Day 1- 3 are part of a series. I have days 1 and 2 completed, but day three is in the works!

Day 4 is complete and just needs a bit of editing

Day 5-7 are complete! (This is my collab with @gooseyjossip 😉)
