I feel like I need to share this because idk if Europeans are familiar with the presence of Aldi in the US, but at least especially in my area they’ve been growing a lot recently. Like Aldi bought out some local failing grocery chains where I live (Louisiana) and have opened Aldis in all these somewhat rural communities and small towns, which for the record I’m fine with
But as a result of this they are advertising a lot more in my area and also in many cases, the people in these areas have never been confronted with Aldi or any European grocery store. So the ads that Aldi is pushing out to its new US customer base feature a cowboy shopping at Aldi who is explaining to new Aldi customers how Aldi works. Like this cowboy is explaining you gotta put a quarter in the shopping cart and why there are very little name brands. A cowboy is how they want to reach their American customer base. They gave us a cowboy
Here he is, the Aldi Cowboy
EVERLARK THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A COUPLE LIKE YOU
another zutara relic………it’s genuinely so insane……if i had a man and i had to stare at The Scar He Took for His Dear Old Friend every time he took off his shirt, i’d never know peace personally……..people like to undo the gravity of the lightning scene by saying that zuko would have taken it for anyone - thing is, he didn’t……….he took it for KATARA…….he chose KATARA to fight with him………he wanted KATARA by his side and he outran lightning (LIGHTNING…..the SPEED OF LIGHT…….basic PHYSICS) for KATARA and he would have died for KATARA. end of speech thank you

Elain stepping out of the darkness into the light.
I can't wait to see my girl face difficult challenges and watch her bloom! <3
Katniss has always had a fondness for Peeta since before the start of the books. That being said, I do believe she developed a proper crush on him sometime during their first Hunger Games. I also think she fell in love with him sometime during Catching Fire and was just realizing it during their second Hunger Games together. I think Peeta knew she was falling for him and possibly even knew she loves him then but was waiting for her to arrive at that conclusion on her own. This is another factor that makes their separation after the destruction ofbthe arena so devastating; she realized she loved him but was unable to say anything because of the audience and their subsequent separation, where he was taken and tortured by the capitol. When reuniting, we can see that Katniss expected a romantic reunion but she was crushed instead when he attempted to kill her.
What do you guys think? At what point do you think Katniss fell in love with Peeta?
I think people forget Lucien saw everything that happened to Feyre UTM, he saw the way Rhysand treated her, Lucien thinks this guy is a mind controlling monster because of his reputation. Hell he even threatened to kill Lucien's mother in book 1.
He doesn't know Feyre is safe, he doesn't know Velaris exists, all he knows is the horrors he's heard about the night court, of Rhysands reputation. So of course he tried to bring her home, he thinks she's been kidnapped by an evil mind controller ??
I feel like people villainise him for his actions here, but he was trying to save his friend, who he thought was in danger. WE know she isn't, but he doesn't.
And he later apologises to her and then helps her get back to the night court.
I just don't understand this desire to completely villainise Lucien? It's like his character arc is just completely ignored.
It's ok for the bat boys to be complex and make mistakes, but god forbid Lucien does, because he stands in the way of your ship.
I'd also like to remind everyone feyre thinks this about Lucien in ACOWAR:
So trying to paint him as being a bad guy asshole, is just not canon, sorry.

sjm please drop the book titles already. it’s june.
The Hybern War be like
It’s the “he doesn’t even know me” Elain snaps at Feyre about Lucien in FaS only to be gifted a pair of magical gardening gloves that allows her to do the thing she loves to do the most without risk of getting hurt for me.
It’s the “he doesn’t even know me” only for Cassian to remark the only thing that brings Elain any life in the Hewn City was her pearl comb only for Lucien (who was not present then) to gift her a pair of beautiful pearl earrings the next Solstice for me.
Almost like…..Lucien does know her. And that scares her.
There's something relaxing about flat colors. I actually prefer them to shading (art by me).
✨ Manifesting news this month! ✨
Omg Rhy’s POV…. All I’m hearing is Slade Ravenger
“The new Amren is even crankier than the old one.”
ELAIN-
Oh my god if I can’t handle the fucking convo Elain and Lucien had in Feyre’s presence at the end of ACOWAR I just know that any elucien content is going to utterly destroy me.
Elain stepped out of a shadow behind him and rammed Truth Teller to the hilt through the back of the king’s neck.
Don’t you touch my sister
Friendly reminder: that it was both Nesta and Elain that killed the king.
