(possible spoilers for Across the Spider-verse ??)
my poor guy got his eyes infected by gas, one more infected than the other and therefore having to be removed
he can still sorta see, everything is just more blurry than before
his suit actually features a built-in gas mask, as gassing out trenches was a tactic during WWI
his suit’s colors are obviously based on that of Spider-Man, but they’re supposed to be more reminiscent of Russia’s flag colors (+ the color of German WWI soldier uniforms - a faded dark blue) and the gold patterning is for Germany’s flag and it’s based on their national bird, the Golden Eagle (ignore that it’s a butterfly)
anyways his hair has grown quite long (see second pic) but he usually has it tied up somehow (see first pic)
pretty quiet kid; he’s picked up some English and French from the December Treaty but he’s certainly not fluent, so when he’s invited to the multiverse, everyone just kind of assumes that he can’t speak or doesn’t want to
it’s actually Miles who asks him a question to which point he answers — to everyone’s surprise — in a mix of confused/frustrated Russian and shaky English
him and Miles get along since, in his world, he’s somehow screwed up the whole Uncle Ben sort of timeline, which is bad but not as bad as Miles’ situation
