random thought of the day... since mc has nicknames to differentiate all the alt boys from the originals do refined oikawa, stern iwaizumi, and sentimental ushijima have similar nicknames for her since they also knew the other her of their world... if that makes sense.
The question makes sense! However, the Hyquile Men aren’t using any nicknames for her to differentiate the two :) Besides for storytelling/writing reasons on my side as an Author for doing this, the main reason would be because for those that knew Alt!MC, she has been considered dead and gone for a long time now.
Whilst MC started using nicknames in her head for the Hyquile Men initially as a way to help her cope with the reality of being in another world/alternate reality. By not associating the Hyquile versions of her friends with their names alone, and relying on their nicknames, she was unconsciously rejecting their existence as it is pretty much a denial of their existence. Afterall, Alt!Kuroo to himself is just Kuroo Tetsurou, not Majestic Kuroo and he surely doesn’t know MC refers to him as such in her head.
Which is why as MC gets to know them over time and began to accept their existences as real, and not just a dream, she has started using their nicknames less and less compared to the beginning.
...I hope that makes sense? Ahaha this wasn’t blatantly explained in the story and was more of a subtle implication through MC’s development and change in language so I hope this isn’t something that comes out as a shock HAHAHA
