How is it? How does it work? I'm going for the first time this season
It was fun. You basically pick different "booths" and you'll give them a "tip" for a photo and autograph and most booths are interactive. This is the FAQ from 2011 and the video from that years Tip A King.
They should be releasing more information on this years TAK and the activities.
Simon at "Tip A King" speaks to Chris Kaliszewski from the Kings Cast, whose video you have probably already seen. Though, I am very happy to inform you, that this video features unseen Simon footage! Big thank you to Chris and the Kings Cast! Enjoy!
Back from Tip a King
It was worth the $65 a ticket that's for sure!! Here are the highlights!
Got to meet Mike Richards!! He was, ok, looks older than 26. Has gorgeous greenish hazel eyes. Got the "Slap Shot" pic as well as another pic and he autographed my son's puck
Took a pic with Matt Greene and the "Cutting Edge" pic. Almost fell back into the screen, never cease to do something ridiculous around him. He greeted me with a huge a grin, he must remember me from the camera incident from meet the players!!!
Dustin Penner is a sweetheart!! My kid cracked him up and he was super friendly and chatty, the man is a big real life teddy bear!
My son also met Quick, Bernier, Johnson, Lewis, Westgarth and Parse. Quick and Bernier were great with the fans, they chatted with everyone, great guys!
Will try to get the cheesey movie pics up, my scanner is being a bitch right now, have the other pics up on my FB for those who have me on there.
