Life is like writing in pen, you can decide what goes on the page but sometimes you make mistakes. You can cover these mistakes up with tip-ex but they never truly disappear. Maybe we should go through life drawing lines through what goes wrong: we can move on and embrace that these little mistakes are what makes us who we are today.

YouTube Mimicry
I was just watching an old Contagious DVD (Q3 2010 since you ask...) and noticed a really cool example of YouTube mimicry that I did not remember seeing.
It was something that Samsung did for the launch of their 3DTV's, if you've not seen it check out the following link:

For those not in the know already mimicry involves producing a custom gadget within a brand on YouTube that mimics the YouTube interface and functionality.
Whilst Samsung's attempts was not as successful as the infamous shoot a bear Tip Ex channel mimicry as it only recieved 275K views compared to 16.3 million for NSFW a hunter shoots a bear I think it is fantastic work.
Mimicry was so popular last year, but I've seen very few examples this year. That said there's a really cool repository of other YouTube creative executions saved here:
