T.I. has been a major voice in the South since the early 2000′s. Around this time the rapper lifetime usually circle’s around the old man narrative around where Tip Harris is currently at. Instead T.I. continues to make big pop choruses with fairly self-evident appeal, but unlike his last couple of major hits (About The Money, Peanut Butter Jelly, I Need War) it comes w/o the new voice of the South, Young Thug. “Money Talk” rises and falls continuously through out the song simultaneously with the energy TIP displays, but shines brightest where T.I. takes cue from the work he has done with Young Thug by letting rhythm and flow live in the same plane of the world, but letting them have as much space as possible as a recently divorcee’
