tippy-toes replied to your post: I need to go pick up my drugs and I have no idea...
Please be careful and don’t fall again
can’t fall if you use the drive thru pharmacy
You are never gonna get a girl like me on a tippy-toes!
What happens when you have too many shades of brown and pink yarn, and you just got back from Phantom of the Attic?
Stash Busting Project #3: Tippy-Toes from The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl.
It's a super cute and funny comic so far. Squirrel Girl even has a roommate who's in to fibre arts! (And tattoos!) If you're up for something a little quirky and engaging, give it a read.
No pattern for this one since it's a licensed property. Except for the acorn... So below is a pattern for the acorn!
Acorn Pattern Worked in continuous rows. Use one hook size for the bottom, and the next size up for the cap. (I used a 3.25mm for the bottom, and a 3.5mm for the cap.) Bottom: In lighter brown Row 1: MR 4 Row 2: [inc] * 4 (8) Row 3: [inc] * 8 (16) Row 4: [sc 3, inc] *4 (20) Rows 5-8: sc all (20) Add some batting, and keep adding the top off each row Row 9: [sc2, dec] *5 (15) Row 10: [sc, dec] * 5 (10) Row 11: [dec] * 5 (5) (I didn't close off the top all the way, because of the cap.
Cap: In darker brown Row 1: MR 5 Row 2: [inc] * 5 (10) Row 3: [sc1, inc] *5 (15) Row 4: [sc1, inc, sc1] * 5 (20) Rows 5 & 6: sc all (20)
Stitch cap over bottom, and you're all done! A cute li'l acorn is now yours.
