5 Tips When Travelling for the First time to Bali
1 - Know the weather Period - Rainy, Sunny, windy Season!
October to April is the rainy season; May to September the dry season. It gets colder and more windy between July and august - Note the Period! :)
2 - Where to sleep?
Accommodation ranges from the very basic thorough to some of the most amazing five-star hotels you’ll find anywhere in the world. The trend over the past five to 10 years is for villa accommodation. This style can offer you the same comforts as a hotel but with more privacy and better options if travelling as a family or group. If you are low on budget you can go for a Guest house with Breakfast included!
3 - Awas Bali Belly
Be careful with the food you eat, if you are not use to spicy, make sure to know what you have in your plates, your idea of spicy could be non spicy to their Chef!
But eat local if you want to understand more about Indonesia! As a newbie try the nasi goreng, mie Goreng, nasi campur. If you feel a bit crazy, try the bakso in the street! TASTY
4 - Transport - Transport!
Two different ways: Either you feel safe in the taxi, and in this case always go for the blue bird company. Either you feel confident enough to rent a motorbike and cruise around the island! Always wear a helmet - safety first -
5 - ENJOY
There are a lot of things to do in Bali, from surfing to temples, to yoga, to amazing lookout.
Follow the flow, and take it easy, that’s the way Balinese live.
