               Mettaton isn’t one for consolation. Which is to say he           is, and he does try, but considering his position, he hardly           can consider himself the right person for the job. And he           doesn’t take offense to that. But when among a crowd of           a similar position--and by someone who, by comparison,           is relatively new to the whole thing--it’s hard for him not to           try and at least say something. Anything.

               “...I can’t promise you it gets better, exactly. I haven’t           quite figured out if it does yet myself.” He sighs, and a light           puff of pink vapor escapes him. The strawberry scent might at           least help clear the air. “But. It does get easier. Weird as it is           to say.”
