i would totally be your fake girlfriend, if you don’t mind a straight girl faking it.

Do the costume where one person is the head of a horse and one is the butt, but just leave the butt empty and drag it around everywhere
Anyone of any sexual orientation is totally free to apply to be my fake significant other. All fake girlfriends are going to have to deal with potential homophobia from the fam, though, so you might want to consider that in your calculations of whether it’s worth it.
tipsykipsy OMFG. I have been laughing about this all day. I keep imagining myself in Disney World like this saying to someone seductively, “That’s right, boys, I’m available” and I just??!?? IT’S SO FUNNY.
If my little brother ends up not bringing his girlfriend I might try to coordinate an outfit with him. If he does then maybe I should have a costume based on a character who is notoriously ALL BY THEMSELVES. Like “Aww, it’s the Ninja Turtles! It’s Woody and Bo Peep! It’s the entire family from Phineas and Ferb! And it’s... Tom Hanks’ character from Cast Away. Carrying Wilson. Oh, that’s so sad.”
Of course, that one’d be hard to do because he’s topless for most of that movie and I’ve got these big ol’ tits. Disney may not approve. (Plus it’s hurricane season in Florida I might want to wrap up more.)
It’s sad that 1. Moon isn’t a more well known movie and 2. The outfit from that is pretty generic astronaut jumpsuit so people would just be like “Janitor? Astronaut?” because otherwise that’d be PERFECT. I love that movie. Though now that I think about it dressing as an astronaut could make you a Notoriously Alone character in one of several movies. Poor stranded astronauts.
Ahhhhhhhh I need to settle on an idea I am running out of time.
Thought you should know - in the "browse by tags", the Fabric link is broken! The url is going to /fabric instead of /tagged/fabric. Thanks for putting this all together, and have a good one!
It should be working fine now, thanks for bringing this to my attention! ☆
Do you have any resources for hair style references? I've been doing tons of sketches, depleted what my brain can think of, and still haven't found anything fitting! (fantastic job overall though, everything you post has been really inspiring!)
I do have a few things on the 'hair' tag on this blog, but not a ton. When I'm looking for hairstyle inspiration a lot of the time I'll just google something like "long braided hairstyles" and usually a bunch of hairstyle websites will come up. Sorry if that's not a ton of help!
