District speech day 2 numbers. 12 hour day (including about an hour layover for a mani pedi after the contest was over); 140+ miles; 3 out of four rounds judged (POI, DI and FEX); 4,792 steps (2 miles) on TU campus; a great convo with an Oologah grad who came back to judge (and a book recommendation I immediately ordered); part of an audio book today; and now home for the evening. The mani pedi was a wee bit of self care urged by the Lawman. (I thought Barnes and Nobel or Michael’s sounded good. He was like go unplug and order what you need online).
