Personal betrayal

I don't know if it's just me, but I feel personally betrayed every time my co-workers decided something with a customer and they don't tell me... because every single time I am the one that has to deal with it in the end and suddenly the customers say "oh... because your Mrs. XY said that we can just do this and this"... and I always look like an idiot.

+ a lot of the times it's something that we are not supposed to like that and it ends with me having more work to do

(obviously I don't actually feel betrayed I just feel mildly annoyed and don't like looking stupid and just wished that they made a note so that those moments don't happen)

Sunny day at work

I know that this just fits the stereotype, but I like sunny days the most when I have a lot of stuff to to in the library office. Because most of the time this means that I get to work on my own, since most people are outside and enjoy the day and don't wanna be stuck in the library ^^'

(Don't get me wrong, I like libraries being third spaces and try to make my library one too. But if I have a lot of stuff to-do I greatly appreciate if I can focus on those even when I'm at the service desk^^'

The city council

I can't believe I survived having to go to the city council for a meeting... I was really fucking scared, since I am still new to this shit and don't know what I'm doing.

But I survived!

And it wasn't as horrible as I thought!!

Win for me! (but now I have to prepare for a meeting with the local council in a few weeks where I have to represent the library and say a few of the important stats from last year... and that is not so much a win for me)

Living the stereotype I, personally, am introverted and not good with people...

... so of course I am very overwhelmed that someone from a local newspaper just showed up and asked me about a little project we have. I wish my co-worker could have done the talking but sadly...

I did the project

I am the "boss" (air-quotes because I technically am, but also we are very small and don't have strict hierarchies)

my co-workers are even more introverted than I... (especially when it comes to being photographed)

so yeah... I (as I was told by my co-worker) got red in the face and I was really scared of not being able to answer something (or answer something wrong)

Don't get me wrong, the newspaper guy seemed nice, but I am terrified that he thinks the library sucks or I suck and that he is gonna write about that... (also because I am in my early twenties so some people think that I am too young and naive and I don't want this to reflect negatively on my generation)

anyways... we'll see I guess and I should stop ranting

I had a little energy today so used the tiny bit of light to grab a couple of photos ♥ I can't be the only one who hates it when the weather changes whilst in the middle of photo changes.
