If you’re coming here for clarification, I’ll give an example.
One time before I was a radfem I was hanging out with a man. Unprompted, he went off about how gender identity wasn’t real and men shouldn’t be crossdressing. He threw some God-shit in there too. Once I was able to get a word in I said something like “I just hate that some men are using it to creep on women.” His entire demeanor changed. He corrected me on pronoun usage and told me point blank that no man has ever pretended to be trans to creep on women. He asked me when I became a conservative.
That is what a TIRM is. TIRMs believe in gender identity only when it suits them. For some TIRMs that means they genuinely always believe. Some, like the example above, only believe in gender identity sometimes. Some literally never believe in it and just parrot the rhetoric as it suits their desires.
But every single one of them uses trans rhetoric to perpetuate misogyny. That is the defining trait of a TIRM.
Trans Inclusive Radical Misogynists and regular old trans exclusive misogynists have taken over the discussion on trans rights and how to deal with gender dysphoria/sex dysmorphia, and quite frankly, we need to take it back.
