Barbey st. playground. Nothing much, just swings, monkey bars, #Handball courts, and also a small group of teenage knuckleheads that go by the name Youngbucks. They grew up in this park and were always looking for the come-up. #Hands was the oldest, he got his name from his skills as a booster (shoplifter) but let him tell it they called him that b’cuz of his knuckle-game. He was 18 tall and linky and had a really slick mouth. Then there was #Tislam or Tiz, 18 and his brother #Malik, 17. Then #Ralphie 16, and #Slave who was the youngest at 15.
