Okeanos and Tethys, Titan Theoi of the earth-nourishing waters, (rain clouds, rivers, springs, water streams. They are the parents of the Potamoi (river Gods) and the Okeanides (fresh-water nymphai). Okeanos is responsible for regulating the heavenly bodies and bringing down the waters, Tethys (whos name means Nurse) is the one who distributes the water to nourish the earth and her children.
