I haven’t been on tumblr much lately and tbh i don’t care of i lose followers for this so let me just say;

Everything has the right to exist in fiction. There is nothing wrong with using fiction to explore dark and taboo topics, that's what its for. There is nothing wrong with having fantasies so long as they STAY fantasies. Once it involves REAL people then its no longer a fantasy, and not what being profic stands for.

Calling proship/profic people pedos/groomers/ abusers/ect. is watering down very real and very important issues, and making it harder for victims to be taken seriously. If you harass someone over fiction then you are more of a problem than them. Some of you care more about protecting fictional "victims" that you create real ones by doxing people. A fictional character cannot be a victim because they aren't real. Protect REAL victims.

This is very much a profic account and while I don’t think it’s as much of an issue here as on other sites the amount of harassment going on is deplorable. Ship and let ship, don’t like don’t read, and just respect people for the love of god.

You don’t have to like every trope ever, there’s plenty that I don’t like. You’re allowed to think certain things are weird, no one can stop you from doing that. That being said, only you are responsible for what you see online. You can block tags if you don’t want to that kind of content.

If you think it’s okay to open someone to harassment because you don’t like how they play barbies with fictional characters then you’re doing infinitely more harm than them. The notion that there’s any art form that deserves to be “called out” for its content is a stupid, puritanical belief. I can’t believe grown adults still need to have why censorship is bad explained to them. Especially in the world we live in right now, you should KNOW when something leads back to conservatism.

ideal living situation is what i call the 'sitcom special' : having all your closest friends live in the same apartment building or neighborhood where you each have your own space but can wander in and out of eachothers homes at will, seemingly always welcome and never at bad times. and also all of you only have jobs when its important to the plot.
