“That’s not true, Halo. I know you know this for a fact.” He murmurs quietly as he leans forth to rest his forehead upon her own. His way of trying to to catch her gaze once more. She was alive, very much like their creators were. The emotions that coursed through them, the pain that plagued each of them, the thoughts that floated about their very minds… All this and more should be enough to prove this, or so Eli was convinced to believe.
“You are entitled to your own decisions: you do not have to go.”
Halo averts her stare away from Eli unsure about how close they were standing, quietly she mumbles “Where would I even go, there’s no way I could disobey them and stay...alive...they’d know...they could find me.” her hands ball up into fists, she knows what she needs to do, and she knows what she wants to do but they aren’t the same objective. “I’m sure....it’ll be okay? Surely this means i’m not needed here...Dr.Romanov is well taken care of, I’m sure you’ll be fine...you never needed me anyway, it was all me...needing you.”
