Grades of Titanium Dioxide from Sukhmani Impex: Choosing the Right One for Your Industry
Sukhmani Impex has four distinct grades of Titanium Dioxide (TiO₂), suited for a wide array of industrial applications. DR‑945 is a high-performance, UV resistant rutile grade made by the chloride process and contains a high level of gloss. It has applications in exterior coatings and automotive finishes, anti-graffiti surfaces, and higher performance inks where every aspect of performance matters to the SPS. DR‑2400 is an economical rutile grade based on the sulphate process and is specifically designed for the plastics and masterbatch industries. It has great opacity, reasonable flowable qualities, and fantastic smooth dispersion in polyolefins and PVC. DR‑2100 is a general-purpose rutile grade titanium dioxide pigment that balances gloss, strength in color undertone (otherwise known as tint strength), and dispersion characteristics suitable for both paint and ink producers alike. For applications mostly inside and expected to be less exposed to outdoor environments, SA‑216 has high brightness, water dispersion, and a good high strength pigment with more than enough hiding power (in terms of waterborne paint and coatings applications, when compared to classic oil-based paint and coatings) for use indoor decorative paints, soaps, rubber products, and construction fillers. Sukhmani Impex has been supplying titanium dioxide as an international supplier since 1999, and has established a reputation for constant product quality, various available packing choices (for TiO₂ it is usually 25kg bags and various sized bulk packing), and worldwide delivery options serving customers in many countries round the globe. When selecting the right grade of TiO₂ for your application, you need to know what you will be using the TiO₂ for, this includes amount of level of UV exposure the TiO₂ will be subjected to, level of gloss you want to achieve, the hiding power you want to achieve, etc.
