hearing kaleb reassure her things would be different, she couldn’t deny the foolish smile on display. she couldn’t help but feel as though maybe things were working out too well, something that rarely happened lately when it came down to them working on their problems and feelings. she pushed those thoughts aside though, not wanting to overthink anything that may cause additional problems. the blonde gladly returned his kiss, unable to keep her hands to herself after having to wait so long. her gaze turns to see roxanne had joined, hesitantly letting her hands drop to her side because technically, he hadn’t broken up with the brunette yet. she feels as though something bad were bound to happen when she hears the other female’s words, eyes shifting between each of them until she leaves. ❝ yeah... alright, eight. ❞ she nods, a new smile surfacing before pressing a kiss against his cheek. ❝ see you at eight, boyfriend. ❞ exaggerating his new label was a bit childish, but after everything they’d endured she felt it was fitting and very much deserved. valerie had gone through her entire closet a good three times before finally settling on a nice little red dress, though she still wasn’t that satisfied, but once she answered the door and heard his compliment she felt a bit better. ❝ why thank you, you look pretty good yourself. um, come in, i just have to go get my heels on. ❞ she mumbles with a small smile, tugging gently on his hand to pull him towards her room. ❝ soo... have you talked to roxanne ? i mean, i’m not rushing you but it just feels kinda wrong -- even though she’s kinda a bitch, but whatever. ❞
