It’s been a while but I don’t think this storybeat is picked up on again. I don’t think Amissa ever appeared again. I wonder if the book had lasted a few more issues if Kirkman would’ve gotten around to having Amissa show up again and probably bring in Quasar again.

As it stands, the nature of why Amissa attacks Quasar here is never explored or explained, it’s meant to suggest that she, like her “lover” Titannus, is a manipulator, but nothing comes of it.
