Thanks to the veterinary profession’s small animal contingent, the world has some new verbs: To "titer" or "titering," as in the act of submitting a blood sample to determine whether an animal has enough antibodies to ensure immunity against a particular disease.

With all the anti-vaxxers in my dog park’s Facebook group, I thought it would be interesting to post about titering.

My stance is: if you have the money, go for it. You gotta do what’s good for you and your pet.

I just don’t like the holier-than-thou attitude a lot of people have, especially for people whom they think are “over-vaccinating” their dogs.
