Different view of “Faerie” so that’s always interesting
Kaye didn’t seem to make permanent connections. She was friends with Janet because they were friends before, but that doesn’t stop her from messing around with Janet’s boyfriend

Am I glad I read it? Yes - Black’s writing style has changed dramatically from Tithe to Cruel Prince. I had read somewhere that Cruel Prince is set in the same world as Tithe, so this reading was for research purposes, but I don’t think I can stomach reading the other two.
