❛      CLOSE  CALL  ---------   are  you  sure  you’re  alright  ?   ❜            the  concerned  captain  ,  always  there  to  save  someone  in  need.            a  distracted  driver  had  nearly  taken  this  woman  out  on  the  sidewalk  ,  had  steve  not  stepped  in  to  quickly  save  her  before  the  car  realized  their  error.         there’s  clear  worry  in  baby  blues  as  he  looks  her  over  once  to  ensure  she’s  actually  not  hurt.  

❛   i  didn’t  grab  you  too  hard  ,  did  i  ?   ❜         a  sheepish  smile  comes  over  the  super  soldiers  lips.        he  wasn’t  great  at  talking  to  women  -------  that’s  clear  in  the  red  rouge  that  touches  his  cheeks  as  he  takes  in  the  fact  that  she’s  beautiful.       ❛   ah  ---- sorry.     forgot  to  let  you  go.   ❜        he  laughs  softly  at  himself  &  releases  her  from  his  arms  ,  setting  her  on  her  feet  once  more.

Bella couldn’t deny that she was hesitant. Worried really. The supernatural world was a very real and dangerous creature. One that she’d only been lucky to survive in. Truthfully she wants to make some attempt to steer Daphne away from it if she can. Or at least away from the worst of it. 

She’s managed to snag what’s technically a study room at the library. Much to the chagrin of a larger group that wanted it. But this felt like the kind of thing they should work on in a somewhat more private setting. As she waits she pulls out a set of photos she wanted to share. Truthfully, while she’d seen her share of things, she’d not believed in ghosts until she took these shots in Melmont. And hopefully it would be enough to keep Daphne away from the potential vampire trail.

His mom had hushed him and hushed him since he was a child & he didn’t have the social understanding that one didn’t go around simply talking about the lady with a giant hole in her head that lived in the basement.  “Or a liar,”  he added.  “The things that live in there have been there for as long as I can remember. I didn’t know it was something that some people didn’t believe in until I got older... What was your first experience with ghosts?”

         there’s  a  flurry  of  thoughts  ,   before  she  finally  settles  on  the  question  of :    ‘  so  i  guess  red  hair  and  sleuthing  is  a  sort  of  ...  trend  these  days  ,   huh ?  ’    and  nancy  could  name  a  few  more  of  her  experiences  ,   but  doesn’t  want  to  get  into  it  just  yet  .   this  one  isn’t  a  fan  of  OPENING UP  ,   not  yet  .
