An interesting fact is that I studied the poem "A Poison Tree" by William Blake as part of my school syllabus when I was 12 and it kind of stuck in my mind for so many years. I still remember how deeply it affected me. I almost named the fic Poison Tree, but I named it Poison Apple instead as an afterthought. While I do have fun with the Snow White and Adam & Eve theories and they're kind of part of the inspiration too, I really feel the poem was the one which inspired the title, and also the general theme of hatred and revenge festering in Taehyung's heart.
This explanation reveal comes as PA crossed 500 notes, something I never thought of happening even in my wildest dreams. Love all of you who read it and sent sweet little asks dipped in fluffy clouds of heaven.

Now that @hitsuren figured out the references, it's right, I had two references to the title. One was the forbidden fruit that brought about the downfall of Adam and Eve. The snake tempted Eve and she took the apple without letting Adam know first. Yoongi took the money without OC knowing. Also the poison apple can be the one which the witch gave to Snow White. Either way, you get what I'm implying: the Poison Apple here is the money Tae lent, bringing about the downfall of the Mins.
The meaning of the title itself (yes, it's important)
So, starting with the title itself before I get to the characters and all the cool stuff:
It's comprised of 2 words, destiny (shortened to desti) and punk, creating "DestiPunk"
It may sound like a name of some aesthetic like steampunk or solarpunk, but it's not that
Let's start with the "Desti_" part, which stems from the word destiny
Remember, destiny ≠ fate
One is about taking the lead of your life and how things are while the other is some predetermined bullshit
Now onto the "_Punk" part, symbolizing the rebellious nature of the characters themselves and how that is the main driving force behind everything going on
"Desti" is the goal, "Punk" is the way
When put together, "DestiPunk" is about a pathway to forging your own destiny, no matter what life throws at you and how much it drags you through mud
Whether it's to become the best version of yourself, fulfill your dreams, find yourself, find love, find or create a family, discover something, invent something, create or more
Thank you for asking! Well I was gonna go with something from the song beautiful crime, but I didn’t feel like any of the lyrics were a subtle enough title, and the ones that were didn’t make enough sense. Then I found this poem:

Okay so I think a lot of this poem has Sam vibes, and parts of it fit her story perfectly! but I liked “without a cease and more” for two reasons. One, it kinda echoes a scene in the first chapter (where she doesn’t stop to close her eyes bc if she did she would go in) and also because sams life never stops, it’s one thing then the other, never ceasing. Sylph - Rather than commanding or exploiting their aspect, they allow it to flow through them for the purpose of healing and guiding others. A being who is new to the sylph class is likely to discover their powers when attempting to assist another. Once a sylph becomes more comfortable with themselves, they will seek to help anybody they can with their aspect.
Heart - The Self. Soul, spirit, consciousness, personality, character. Whatever you prefer. The Heart focuses on the core of your being. Heroes of Heart will often find their personality splintering into characters, personalities, or even artificial selves.
Sylph of Heart - The role of a Sylph of Heart is to heal the souls of others. You can directly aid people’s souls or senses of self with your powers, both psychologically and literally.
Like all titles, a person’s actions will not always be in accordance with what they have been assigned. While having a certain class gives you an advantage in a certain role, it does not prevent you from acting outside that role.
Typical Combat Role -
A sylph is more of a noncombat role, but this does not prevent them from using their Heart powers to aid in combat.
* Potentially rescuing others from dream bubbles or doomed timelines
- Healing the spirit of another to increase morale or change their sense of self
- Preventing battle by healing the soul of the enemy
* Instead of healing souls through kindness or motivation, you will be able to skip all of that and directly heal them magically.
Typical Session Role -
At its core, you will heal allies with your Heart powers. Heal damaged spirits, use your splinters or personalities to help others recover; move around in the dream world prematurely to help the session run smoother. Being a Sylph of Heart will likely make denizens very amiable, and can potentially prevent most fights in this manner. Your abilities will make for a much more conflict-free session, if applied properly.
EDIT: The Sylph of Heart, at its most powerful, will be able to guide others to reaching their full potential in their class/aspect combination. They can heal those who are straying from their Personal Quest and allow them to complete their transformation.
