Regarding the What Time Period Is My Face From question: I've always thought you kinda looked like 1910-1915 era American women. I don't know if you'll find that nice or not, but I mean it in a nice way!

I so feel for my poor friends trying to defend their reasoning behind keeping planned parenthood alive on Facebook. 

They’re getting annihilated with stupidity, as per usual. Unfortunately, I don’t have the emotional stamina to argue some viewpoint on FB again. I’m still fucking exhausted from the Kim Davis fiasco.

i went to public school in kentucky and the only accommodation i saw was braille underneath the room numbers by the doors, unfortunately.

In my school in Mississippi, blind and deaf students usually ended up in the special education classes instead of making accommodations in the main classrooms. :(

thanks- I’m trying to work out some fic logistics, whether Maddie Murdock would’ve gone to public (or Catholic) school or been sent away to someplace with proper accomodations. Given that she would have been a ward of the state (or the church? Come to think of it, I’m not too clear on how the child welfare system in the States works either) I’m guessing she would’ve gotten shuffled into public school. :/
