ㅤㅤTj ends up phasing out of Jean after everything calms, if one would call it calm after everything.

ㅤㅤShe knows she's pushed herself too far, she hadn't felt it earlier but now that it's just her it hits her like a truck. Within seconds her breath comes out in light pants as she leans back on her good arm. Her right one laying uselessly by her side.

ㅤㅤTipping her head down she tries to calm her breathing to no avail & she knows she's going to start regretting it. If not soon, later that evening. Or now. Yeah now seemed like a safe guess.

ㅤㅤNot at all paying attention to the commotion around her, Talia lays back against the concrete. Her eyes drifting closed.

ㅤㅤThe voice is confusing, but it sounds close. The second she feels herself lifted she thinks that's obvious. "Dad?" Asking softly she doesn't even bother opening her eyes. When did he get to London? She falls asleep moments later.

ㅤㅤTJ doesn't notice her at first, so focused on the music playing in her ears to pay attention to the approaching steps. There's always something soothing when it comes to complex melodies that gets her every time.

ㅤㅤLuckily, she's listening to classical music today, her head perking upwards the second she hears that voice over the drum of cords. Her pure yellow eyes widening as they see... " Mom! "

ㅤㅤA huge smile creeps over her lips as she tugs the earbuds from her ears. " Not at all! I'm just enjoying a bit of creative differences. It's amazing how the same song can alter with each reality. " It's a habit she thankfully never lost. It is devastating how often the bands she finds a fondness for can break up in some while other song are sung by totally different bands in others. Some of it more creative.

She lifts her head to look to her mother & crinkles her nose. " Don't answer that. I'll probably get food poisoning from ingesting all the corruption. " She pauses, pretending to think about it. " Actually the hatred for differences alone would be enough to do that right before I have a heart attack. Definitely don't need it in my diet. "

     She doesn’t do well with the silence, she can find the calm within it but she’d rather be listening to music, writing songs or joining a band instead of actually sitting around within the silence. 

    Though she wouldn’t exactly think of silence as the void. She just sees it as a time without noise. She can get restless within it but that’s only when she has important matters to think about. She has a lot of energy, though her leg can at times at up, it doesn’t act up as much as it used to. When she’s the most energetic you can bet she has earbuds in or is dancing to some tunes. Either from this world or her own.

    TJ is actually a singer for a band that has been within many universes, yet the first one was unmade. She uses the same band name in every one of them. It’s Butt Monkey’s. It was a name her original band decided on, so she keeps it alive even though the universe as she knows it doesn’t exist any longer. Her mind palace is her giving a live concert with a hard rock or death metal feel to it.

      What? Does he normally talk like that when it involves people? TJ is just at a loss for words. Is he talking about something in his head or is there a side she doesn’t see? Did he just eat something? He’s a mutant, isn’t he? She saw him at the old X-Mansion when she was there, she swears she has. All she gets is an impression of chest hair when she tries to place him. But... The way he dresses he comes off as one of those old perverted vampires. Not the ones human’s faint over in some bizarre fashion but some old creepy vampire who perverts everything he looks at just by opening his mouth.

      Is there something she’s missed? Not that she knows Krakoa very well, she’s only been hanging out with her family mostly since her return. Maybe she needs to get out more. Or she should just ask her dad if there’s a section of Krakoa for old timey mutant vampires she should avoid. “ Y’know I’d love to sit here & unpack all of that, but I have a lot of things to do today.”

      TJ isn’t sure what happened, all she knew was now she’s lying prone on the cement dazed with the loudest ringing in her ears. Pure yellow widened at the fact she actually hurt, everywhere. a scowl flickers over her brow as a groan she couldn’t hear falls from her lips. Freezing abruptly, panic fills her expression even as her teeth hook over her lip in one corner hard.

      She starts to shift her limbs slowly as she struggles to keep her breathing calm, checking to see if she could move them, relief floods her when everything moves, just slightly at first before she stubbornly pushes out another groan & shifts her feet more noticeable, her arms lifting to her head as she lets out another breath.

                  Not another stroke, yay.

      Even though she doesn’t remember ringing being part of that experience. She tries to sit up, far too quickly, wincing as she falls back down. Pure yellow eyes start to move to the side, she wants to see what happens. Only to flick directly to her Aunt when she saw her walking to her. She squints at her, not really able to make out her words.

      Rubbing the side of her head & gradually pushes herself up onto her elbows, scowling deeply at the fingers her alt-dimensional Aunt is holding up for her.

      Closing her eyes with another unheard groan, she raises her hand & places it on her temple, as if it’ll keep herself steady & opens her pure yellow eyes again. Still seeing the same amount of fingers.

                  “ Err... Four?”

      She thinks? Maybe? Don’t people normally hold up two fingers when they ask that question? Was that the question. Did she say four?

       TJ does a little happy jump & kisses Thad soundly on the cheek. It was a quick friendly peck, her pure yellow eyes arched in a way that screams enthusiasm & happiness. “Hi! Do you like metal bands?”

      She steps back and glances down at her hand, her three blue fingers shifting over her flyers. “Well it’s not purely metal, think metal with the feel of the Beatles.” She smiles at him as she hold out a flyer with Butt Monkey’s written in large print with a time & location in smaller print. “We’re preforming at the old annex if you’re interested.”
