A Place Called Home // TJ Mosham
Thomas wasn't feeling iffy, but there was something going on inside of him as he drove towards Bridget's place to pick her up. He had a surprise in store for her. After a crazy week of hunting houses, apartments and all sorts of things in the real estate market, he had finally found the place to move to, which wasn't far from where he was right now. It was slightly bigger, closer to the beach and to his job. He was kind of ecstatic about the idea of changing of place, the one he had right now held many memories and things that were good and bad, and giving a fresh start to all the amazing things going on right now on his life seemed only fair.
It was also a big step, he was going to ask Bridget to move in with him, there. No it wasn't an engagement, not yet at least, but it meant a lot for him. It was moving on from the past, it was getting more engaged with someone else's life and finally feeling like his life was settling down for good. She had no idea, he was just there with the excuse of taking her out for dinner, which they were doing, but after visiting the place that they would call their own.
Soon he was standing in front of her door, a grin on his face as he heard Penny barking on the other side, announcing he was there before he could even knock on the door.
Visions of Paradise // TJ Mosham
Annapolis brought mixed feelings to Thomas. First, there was the nostalgia of going back home, to his parents, it had been some years since they saw each other and he felt like nothing had changed. And second, the pressure of taking Bridget there, to meet them. He was sure, and later he confirmed, that she was going to be adorable and they would love her immediately, but it also brought to the surface some things that they talked about and that he was trying to push: her job as a stripper.
He felt relieved that she didn't tell them what her occupation was exactly; Thomas never requested her to keep it from them, but he felt content when she just pointed out that she was going to nursing school, idea that his mother seemed to be particularly fond of (after all she is a doctor). On the road back home, after celebrating her birthday, there was a calmness in the air. It was like he didn't want to go back to work, reality or anything that awaited in LA. As he drove, he looked at her briefly, asking with a smirk. "What's on your mind, love?"
The little things || TJ Mosham
Hard was one word to describe Bridget's first day of school. The course load was going to be demanding and she was starting to think about how she was going to balance everything out; work, school and spending time with Thomas and her friends. She was already coming to the conclusion that she was going to become a hermit, and that wasn't her nature. She liked to be out meeting new people. Enjoy the LA sun and with summer slowly approaching, the weather would be getting hotter. Instead, she was going to be buried inside studying. She was already considering giving up her Sunday shift and sticking to only three days a week. The question was, how was she going to survive?
A petite body laid across the couch and she stared up at the ceiling. What was the point of having her apartment when she was never there. She could sell it and find something smaller. Or, maybe it was time to take their relationship to the next level. But she didn't know how to talk to him about this. There were still some unresolved issues when it came to her work. Penny jumped up on her stomach and crept up to lick her face. "Hey girl, no kisses." She laughed. Arthur's wet nose poking at her cheek. "Hey you." She turned her head to kiss the tip. Both of them running off towards the front door, barking, when they heard the bolt of the door unlock. Her body shifted to sit up and a smile etched into her features when Thomas came into view. "Hey Handsome. How was work?"
I love the scruff.
I'm keeping it for you, love. How was your day?
So handsome.
I'm not a professional tease as you, but I try
I can feel you || TJ Mosham
The return back from Vegas was filled with a mix of emotions. Penny and Arthur were excited to see them, wagging trails and wet kisses galore. Bridget had decided to stay the night at Thomas'. It was hard be apart from each other. She wondered when he would be bored of her. As he showered she decided to make something for them to eat dressed in one of his button shirts.
It didn't take her long to make something, granted it was grilled cheese sandwiches with tomatoes and a salad. She set the table for both of them and found a bottle of wine in the fridge. She heard the bathroom door open and saw the love of her life stroll down into the living area in a pair of sweats. He still gave her the butterflies. That feeling would never leave. It would always be there. She met him half way and wrapped her arms around his neck and placed a chaste kiss on his lips. "I made us something to eat." Her fingers toyed with his wet hair.
So handsome
Good morning love.
I'll only stop taking pictures of you when you stop looking flawless after a sleepless night. Which is... never
