No treat on a lawyer was entirely good or entirely bad, it was a treat and Thomas got what it took to be secretive, turth was, he would never hide anything from her. Except for this kind of surprise.
"we’re really doing it. It’s happening." He grinned as he pulled her inside the house to start a little tour. He wanted it by the beach because he knew she loved it and also because it would still feel like a getaway. "I had to do it. I wouldn’t feel this happy if I didn’t. I wanted us to start on the right foot." This also came from previous experiences, taking time was proving to be a goof practice and he was willing to do only what was right with her. No rushing, but also, not hesitating that much. It was like playing by hear but to a tune you knew you loved so much, no matter how hard, and it all made things lighter.
He showed her the first floor, with the huge space for the living room and a fireplace, the big window/door that leaded to the back porch, leaving also to the beach. The kitchen and the studio. “I think this is where you’re gonna be most of the time, but also where I’m going to chase you.”
An arm wrapped around his waist and she stayed close to him whilst he showered her around the home. Everything was breath taking. And the fact that together they would fill it with new memories. Memories of their relationship made her smile. This was what a home was supposed to feel like; love. "You need to stop spoiling me." She poked his cheek. "Not that I'm complaining." She raised on her toes and kissed where she poked. This man before her loved her and she loved him in return; equally as much.
She pulled away from him and bit down on her bottom lip. She could only imagine the many places they would have fun. They usually had a hard time keeping their hands off each other. "You are going to chase me?" A curious brow arched at him. "What if I want to chase you?" The corner of her mouth twitched into a sly grin. "You'll let me chase you, right blue eyes." It was a give and take in their relationship. And she would find someway to repay him for this wonderful gift.

I know it is. I'm still in shock. But it's a good step for us. I think. Well, I am going to go with yes. We are at the stage. He's the only one I want. And I spent most of my time at his place, no point having two places.
