anyone read Monsters Within Men by TJ Rose? should i get it?
So... here's my review for the first book.

First I recieved this book as an Advance Reader Copy
Red and Wim are two men traveling together on an adventure filled with several side quests, a little bit of mischief, encountering lot of danger.
Their first meeting was not a pleasant one. Wim is a terrifying beast of an individual, that had Red shaking in his worn through boots.
Nevertheless they settle their differences for now and begin their trek. Red carries his noble quest given to him by his queen while Wim seeks a way to end his curse. Along the way they develope feelings they can't ignore.
What I found repetitive was Red's inner monologue. Whenever he was not actively engaged in conversation or some kind of action he constantly doubted his place in the world, Wim's heart, his own actions, his capabilities, pretty much everything. While yes this is what happens when you spend a lot of time hiking (that's what this amounts to) it grew tiresome. Wim on the other hand did not get that much attention until much later in the story. I found that unfair.
He is an equally tragic character, and he had many challenges to face by himself and with Red. And by keeping his secret for so long he did break his own heart when he finally did come clean.
There were several great twists at near the end of this story that I saw coming, plus a few I definitely did not. So much wow for that.
Over all, I did enjoy this book. I believe this is a new author for me. If I see another book come across my recommendations, I will probably pick it up.
I am absolutely sorry to everyone and the author for this terrible screenshot. I'm new at this, I'm an elder millennial. (I didn't know what riz meant until the kids stopped saying it.)
Anyway, I totally recommend this one. TJ Rose said they will have signed copies and Little Red Riding Hood merch on thier etsy shop some time soon. They are UK based so us US folks might be SOL. There's other book merch there so if you see something else feel free to go support them.
