DANCES, CONFESSIONS AND DICK PICS.
SETTING: January 27th. / Outside of the school.
SUMMARY: Savannah and TJ finally confess their feelings for each other and then Elijah ruins it...with a dick pic and now things are awkward.
POSSIBLE TRIGGER(S): None.
THOMAS The night was pretty much stuck right in the middle of awkward and a good time. There was alcohol, dancing, tension - pretty much anything you could think of, it was a feeling. Him and Savannah had had some weird little argument before the dance but by the end of the night things started to get better. And it wasn’t just because he decided to loosen his tie and have some fun. They were heading back to his car to drive to the after party and all night he kept thinking on why he jsut assumed the whole unfollow thing was because of Sam. It was lining up just right with how he cancelled on her last minute and then five seconds later it seemed as if she had plans with someone else. It kinda hurt his ego. No, it did hurt his ego. Grabbing her hand, he walked through the parking lot and looked over at her and smiled. LIke really smiled. He hadn’t been this genuinely happy in a long time and maybe it was because he got to spend his night with her. “I hope you had as much fun as I did,” he basically shouted and then laughed at his own loudness because he was a little tipsy. Getting to his car he leaned back against it and pulled her closer to him.
SAVANNAH With the day starting off like it did, Savannah wasn't entirely sure how the night was going to go. After her fall out with Thomas earlier that day and the little bit of arguing the came with it, she just didn't see how a good time would be possible unless they had gotten over it really fast. Though, she never understood anyways why he was acting the way that he was. He was the one who canceled on her, after all. Plus, her and Sam, that wasn't a date. She just wanted to wear her leather pants and hang out with her friend. Being happy was something that Savannah really wasn't expecting, but after all of the dancing and drinking, she quickly realized that she couldn't have been more wrong. She had been having the best time with Thomas and honestly, she just couldn't keep the smile off of her face as their night at the school came to a close and they were heading off the the after party. Whenever they walked out, she was in her own world smiling and happy whenever he grabbed her hand and she let her fingers lace through his while she kept a tight grip on his hand. Her eyes found his and when he smiled, she smiled even more. A true Savannah smile, one that lit up her face and the dimples in her cheeks showed. He was happy, really happy and that made her happy, too. "Of course I did!" She laughed, hearing him shout but she shook her head and then let out a content sigh. "Shhh, don't yell!" She teased then got to his car, looking up at him as she wrapped her arms around his neck gently and she smiled up at him. "Thank you for tonight. It really has been amazing," she whispered, letting her nose gently nuzzle against his from their closeness.
THOMAS Smiling over at her, he placed his hands on her waist and pulled her as close to him as possible, being sure to press his body back against hers. “Sorry! I know that yelling is totally your thing,” he teased as he leaned in and brushed his lips over hers lightly, letting his eyes stay on hers. Looking down at her he just stood there for a moment, and ignored all the people that were somewhat out in the parking lot with them, just focusing on her and this moment. Maybe he did still love her. Maybe he just didn’t know how to admit it because he was scared of hurting her again. He knew she was willing, she had told him times before and he was the one that backed away. Out of fear and jealously. He knew she deserved better but he couldn’t help but feel himself be drawn toward her. “I love you,” he mumbled as he finally broke the silence. “I’m in love with you.”
SAVANNAH Letting her eyes focus on him, she allowed him to pull her close and she found herself pressing back up against him. Rolling her eyes, she stuck her tongue out at him playfully then she felt his lips brush over hers and she took in a soft breath. He made her weak in so many ways but whenever he looked at her the way that he was, she couldn't help but feel just a little more weak in the knees than normal. She didn't even remember they were in the parking lot, to be honest, she was just in the moment there with him. She was just about to kiss him before he spoke and she stood there quietly for just a second until he said his second sentence and she felt like her heart was jumping out of her chest while her eyes never left his, "You don't know how long I've waited for you to say that to me," she whispered, "I love you, too, Thomas. I'm in love with you, too," she admitted as she leaned up to close the distance between them and kissed him softly. She let her lips linger, taking in a slow breath before she leaned back down and looked up at him with a smile that just wouldn't stop. Things were finally falling together. "I love you."
THOMAS He wasn’t even nervous or scared to utter those words, it just happened and it felt good to get off his chest. To actually speak the truth for once and not hide his feelings from her. It felt good, it felt right. Letting his hands move up to the sides of her ace he deepened the kiss a little more, letting his lips mover over hers for probably longer than she expected. “I love you,” he whispered back as his lips started to slowly part from hers. “I know I fucked up last time and probably a billion other times before that and after but you make me happy a lot more than you frustrate me like some people and I want to be with you, if you still want to be with me,” he rambled in one breath, searching her eyes as he leaned back some to read over her facial expressions.
SAVANNAH Letting her hands move down to his shoulders, she moved them down to his arms and then around his body. Deepening the kiss, she let out a soft sigh against his lips and found herself being more than okay with them standing there, not caring who was watching them. Hearing him finally whisper back to her, she smiled a little wider, unable to help the want to kiss him again before she listened to him speak. He wanted to be with her. He was saying it, out loud. Thomas Hudson wanted to be with her. The one guy that had her heart and he wanted her back. He felt the same way that she did. "Of course I want to be with you. I want to be your girlfriend," she breathed, her blue eyes searching his face with a smile, biting on her bottom lip gently. Letting her hands reach up to place on his face, she just took him in for a moment and then leaned up to kiss him slowly before whispering against his lips. "I'm all in. I'm yours."
THOMAS: “I like the sound of the way you say girlfriend,” he smiled against hers lips as he kissed her back and tried not to laugh. “Girlfriend, among other things look really good on you, babe.” Feeling something vibrate in his chest pocket he looked down at it and then finally realized it was her phone he was holding since she didn’t have pockets and needed it there for easy access when it came to taking selfies. “You’re phone is going off and I’m too content to move my hands away from you.”
SAVANNAH Laughing softly, she let her head lean over to the side and she bit on her lip gently. "Girlfriend looks good on me but being your girlfriend and then you look the best," she teased softly. "Being my boyfriend looks even better on you, for the record," she whispered and then heard his comment before she looked at his pocket and let out a soft laugh. "I'm too content to move either, honestly. I should check at see if it's Marley though, make sure her jerk date wasn't a jerk, she disappeared earlier," she sighed and laid her head on his shoulder before pulling out her phone and looking at it and then reading Elijah and seeing the picture. "Oh my god, gross! What the hell? No! Gross!" She whined, deleting the picture with closed eyes and then putting her phone back into his pocket before looking up at him again. "I don't know what that was, I swear."
THOMAS Hearing her mention Marley he got a little concerned but if there was a problem there he wouldn’t mind to go fix it with her. He just wanted to be with her. “Hopefully not, everyone deserves to have fun tonight,” he sighed as he looked at her phone with her and then backed up at the sight of the picture. “What the fuck was that?” He questioned as he got really annoyed, really fast. He had problems with trust and insecurities and it was showing hard.
SAVANNAH Smiling at his words, she kissed him again quickly before looking at her phone. "You've made this the most perfect night," she admitted before she heard his question and watched him back up before she took a step forward. "Elijah being an idiot, I swear. I didn't ask him for it, you can look through our texts and see there's no sexual talk at all. This is literally nothing to do with me, I don't like him at all," she practically panicked while speaking as she took a step back towards him once more. "I didn't ask for that picture, Thomas, you have to believe me, please? I don't want anyone else but you. I mean that. I always have."
THOMAS “So, I’m just supposed to believe he sends everyone random dick pics?” He asked with a bit of jealously in his voice as he looked off and grabbed his own phone and stared at it. “Looks like I didn’t get mine. Damn, you must have been the lucky one.” Stepping to the side so he didn’t back into the care he scrolled through his phone. “Okay, if that’s the case, like you claim, Kennedy can confirm this.” Hitting Kennedy’s name to call her, he put her on speaker and waited for her to answer.
SAVANNAH "It's Elijah, Thomas, I swear. I didn't want this from him, I mean that. I don't want him," she begged as he spoke and watched him take a few steps back. Letting her head fall forward, she sighed. They were doing so well, what happened? Oh right, Elijah and his damn dick. Hearing Kennedy answer, she stayed quiet and just listened as she waited for her to speak up. "Hey, what's up?" She heard Kennedy speak and then she rocked on her feet a little as she let out a deep breath.
THOMAS Holding his hand up in a manner for her to be quiet when Kennedy picked up he looked down at his phone. “Hey, sorry for bothering you but does Elijah have a tendency of sending you or really anyone random dick pics? I know it’s a random question but just tell me.”
SAVANNAH Keeping quiet whenever he held his hand up, she let out a sigh and listened to him, not speaking. "Oh hey, Ken. How's your night? - Kidding. Uh, babe, it's Elijah. He'll send a dick pic to anyone who breathes whenever he's being stupid. I've gotten my fair share of dick pics from him at different times but he's a whore so. Yeah. Why are you asking me that question?"
THOMAS “I will play best friend later and ask you how your night was, okay?” Taking his free hand he rubbed his fingers over his temples and didn’t bother to look up. “So, you’re saying he would just randomly send one to Savannah? That’s a thing he’d do?”
SAVANNAH Chewing on her lip, she listened while her eyes never left him. "Okay, alright. Fair enough, as long as you ask and maybe come see me later for ice cream," she laughed then shrugged to herself. "Uh, if he wanted to try and use his dick to get laid or whatever. TJ, he wants to fuck everything almost in Lima - correction - every girl in Lima that has a pulse. He doesn't care. Did he send her one? If you are worried about him, you shouldn't be."
THOMAS “I’m not really in the mood to do anything but I’ll text you.” Leaning against his car he rolled his eyes. “I’m not worried about him. It just makes zero sense why he would randomly send her one if he’s apparently Carter’s friend. That’s all. Sorry for bothering you. I’ll talk to you later,” he finished as he hung up the phone and scrolled through it.
SAVANNAH Whenever he hung up, she stood there, looking over at him and then leaned her head to the side before finally taking in a breath and deciding to speak up. "So?" She asked, leaning back onto the car that was parked in front of his, even though she wasn't sure whose it was, she just felt like she was holding the weight of the world on her shoulders. "Do you believe me now?"
THOMAS Having a problem of over reacting was a problem was his and he always was left feeling stupid afterwards. Looking at his phone he didn't bother to look up at her from embarrassment. "Sorry," he apologized softly as he flipped through Instagram. "I have a problem with overreacting. Still doesn't make sense but whatever."
SAVANNAH Looking over at him, she shook her head and then let out a sigh as she wrapped her arms around herself while standing there. They were like a minute into something and they already had their first blowout and she honestly didn't know how to feel. "I know what it looked like but it was nothing. Literally, probably a him and Carter being idiots thing. I can't stress enough how much he as a person annoys me," she admitted before licking over her bottom lip. "I'm sorry that you felt the need to call Kennedy."
THOMAS "Can you honestly blame me? If it was the other way around you'd be doing the same thing. Don't try and say you wouldn't." Stuffing his phone in his pocket he leaned forward and unlocked his car. "Now that I'm sober I'm just gonna head home. Do you want me to take you home or what?"
SAVANNAH "I can't blame you, I know that I would. I just need you to trust me as me, no matter what anyone else does," she admitted before leaning up and giving him a nod. "Whatever you want to do. It doesn't really matter to me, I just can't walk wherever I'm going so it would be nice to not have to."
THOMAS "I wasn't suggesting that you walk." Getting in the car he sat back and placed his hands on the steering wheel, gripping it to try and get his frustration out. He was really fucking annoyed but apparently was just supposed to let it go and trust her. Waiting for her to get in the car he put his seatbelt on and turned on the radio.
SAVANNAH Getting into the car, she looked over at him before turning on the radio and then let out a deep breath. She somewhat told him what it was. She kind of did. That didn't mean that she felt any better about it though. Buckling in, she looked over at him and sighed. Looking out of the window, she sighed and reached over to get her phone from his pocket, scrolling it a little as she sat quietly.
