I work at an independent shop and yesterday while I was taking the trash out some one stole the honey container. Two weeks ago during the saturday morning rush some one walked away with our the whole milk carafe from the condiment bar. Wtf??
Customer asked for a double espresso in a large cup so he could put in "like, a ton of almond milk because espresso tastes gross". I stared him dead in the eye and said "that would be an iced latte". at least he was embarrassed that i caught him.

It is not. Occasionally I will throw something in for people who buy a lot of it, but it's actually against policy.
I work at an independent cafe and this guy comes up to the register and tries to order a “caramel vanilla chai macchiato”. We do a traditional macchiato (espresso with a bit of foam), and are fairly well known for our chai tea lattes. So I spent five minutes (while a line was forming!) Trying to clarify wtf he wanted
Did he want a macchiato with a pump of caramel and a scoop of chai? Did he want a dirty chai with a pump of caramel and very little foam?? Nope. He forgot what shop he was in and really wanted a vanilla chai. Wtf, dude.
