You know I have to about TLBTC. What is the origin of that title?

TLBTC = The Little Bitch That Couldn't (for the uninformed lol). mostly it was just a funny placeholder title! also a reference to the little engine that could for reasons I couldnt possibly recall.

its kind of an ongoing joke who is the true Little Bitch from the title and what it is they Couldn't do. options include:

HeroMan, The Little Bitch that Couldn't be a halfway decent hero (also the ORIGINAL person the title referred to)

Vil/Manny, the little bitch that couldn't stay a villain (RIP his evil career)

The Real Big Bad, a spoiler. they are definitely a bitch tho

Me, the Little Bitch that Couldn't come up with an actual title

writing update!

it’s been a very long while since I’ve made one! hello again

I know my list of writing projects tends to get a bit unwieldy, and after a little soul-searching i’ve decided to cut my active projects back down to the basics. aka the stuff from the earliest days of my blog - my current active projects are The Clone Story (self-explanatory lol) and TLBTC (my superhero-parody story). 

I’m leaving Escape Train, Divine Rights, and the Four Horsemen up on my WIP page so if you still have any questions about those feel free to shoot. Everything else, um... to the vault it is

I'm a new follower but I recently came across a snippet of your writing (Deal with the Devil) where you talked about your character Carmine, and I must know more about him

welcome! and I’m glad you liked it :D

Carmine Intruccio is the mob boss character from my superhero WIP The Little Bitch That Couldn’t (THAT was a title me and @endlesshourglass made as a joke, and almost 3 years later... my fate is sealed)

Carmine has a flair for drama and image. You won’t catch him without a perfectly tailored suit, orchestrating deals with a snaky smile. His office of course requires a gilded mirror, to dramatically stare at himself in as he entertains his associates’ phone calls. He’s very Italian, feat. the accent, and his shadowy organization is the only thing the city’s government truly fears -- only reason they don’t deal with it is because everyone’s collectively distracted by the Hero-Villain Rivalry™ going on. He always has this air like he knows something you don’t, because he does.

Tell me more about Maggie from tlbtc, please, because I love her, but I don't know anything about her.

WOW I haven’t done TLBTC in a while. throwback

Maggie’s a comic book nerd. her side of the room is full of literal STACKS of comic books, plus posters of every MCU movie that’s come out circa 2016. She’s the type to wear oversized tee shirts with fandom references on them + jeans every single day of her life, plus her neon dyed-pink hair to jazz it up

She’s a practical voice of reason with the heart of an adventurer. So she will tell Vil OVER AND OVER that being the city villain is a terrible idea, but does she think it’s the coolest shit ever? absolutely.

she’s some kind of computer science major, and she’s one of those people that has a natural knack for it. she does school well enough to learn the material without overworking herself or letting it take over her life. She gets tickets to ComicCon EVERY year and is a master of cosplay down to the tiniest detail (she made Vil’s supervillain costume, btw!). 

Very sarcastic and blunt and has a very complimentary sense of humor to Vil’s. She roasts him a lot but it’s mutual. She’s really shy around new people though, but comes across as aloof instead -- she usually has her headphones on to avoid human interaction when she’s not in the mood. It’s an effective strategy.

I’m nowhere near my house at the moment so I have no picture for you rn bUT. it’s supposed to be the metal statue of him in one of Urban City’s parks, as defaced by Vil. I made fake TP out of strips of paper towels for this. in true Vil fashion “HeroMan” has been changed to “ZeroMan” and the statue’s face has been adorned with a >:( expression. “LOL” is spray painted all over him. you’re welcome
