are we definitely convinced that the megatronus design in ratchets rlly obviously biased retelling of their origin is entirely accurate to her appearance at the time. what can u really trust abt that whole sequence
aphrodite casting.
ok but like let’s be real for a second, it’s not just about being thankful or respectful or letting them go off into the sunset or whatever, it’s also a transaction?? i’ve spent years buying their stuff, albums, shirts, tickets, box sets, literally everything they put out, i supported, and now it’s like “oh there’s no pressure anymore i’ll make something if i feel like it”?? ok cool for him i guess
like yeah obviously i don’t want anyone burning out or hurting themselves, that’s not what this is about, but at the same time we helped keep this thing alive, it’s not weird to expect something in return, something concrete, not just interviews and vibes and maybe a dvd if we’re lucky
it’s just frustrating bc it feels super one-sided now, like fans are still giving and showing up and buying and waiting, and he’s just kinda done unless lightning strikes, idk maybe that’s “freedom” for him but for us it feels like we got left hanging
Hi 👋🏻
if that’s your opinion, then so be it – it’s completely valid, and I’m not going to discredit you for it. Still, I imagine it must be difficult to go through life with that kind of expectation. If I had this mindset when I became a Rammstein fan back in the 2010s – at a time when no new album was in sight – I probably would’ve given up quickly and wouldn’t have remained a fan.
And no, to be honest, it’s not like a transaction. You don’t pay artists with the direct expectation that they will create new work. These are people who rely on their creativity to do their job – and that simply can’t be forced.
Maybe another kind of entertainment would suit your outlook on things better, something like a streaming or on-demand service, where you pay and immediately receive something in return. If what Rammstein has released and accomplished over the past few years isn’t enough for you, then unfortunately that’s something you’ll have to deal with personally. No one else can help you with that.
so this could be a complete coincidence, but after nat’s funeral when she and tai and shauna are out for drinks, van says “nobody’s dying tomorrow.” she places the emphasis on the word “tomorrow,” specifically, not “dying.”
…and then taivan’s waiter dies of a heart attack the very next day. i don’t know exactly where i’m going with this but i haven’t been able to get it out of my head
goro “i was and am strong enough to go through this alone” akechi vs akira “you shouldn't have needed to be strong in the first place. none of this should have ever happened” kurusu
