Happy Sunday!!!! At #TLCMarietta today, Bishop @shermanscott preached from Mark 1:1-20 and he taught on expansion. He also cited 1 Chronicles 4:10 and how God wants to expand our territory. He said not to despise your wilderness experience. It has an expiration date (like Jesus being in the wilderness 40 days). 1) Learn how to handle times of being alone (still declare God's truth during this time) 2) Learn to live with things that have the ability to kill you (angels will still minister to you) 3) Stop waiting for people to come to you; go out and spread the good news of Jesus 4) Be willing to give up your will for God's will. Take a risk and be productive. Begin to work the dream that He has given you. He referenced Nipsey Hussle and how he was making a difference in his community, and that even in death - his influence is even greater. Make your life count. Martin Luther King, Jr and Malcolm X made their lives count, as did Nipsey. Last night at #TLCMarietta we continued the study of "Jonah." One thing that stood out to me was the two equations listed in the book: Behavior change - heart change = TEMPORARY Change Heart Change + Behavior Change = PERMANENT Change 👀 👀 So to me, that means we can attempt to change our behavior, but if our HEART doesn't change, our behavior will go back to the same old ways. That is when we are doing it on our own and in our own strength. For you see, it is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks. As a man thinketh in his heart so is he. What's in your heart comes out in your behavior!!! But when we give our hearts over to the Master, He is the ONLY ONE Who can CHANGE our hearts, which is then reflected in our behavior = a PERMANENT CHANGE!!!! Your behavior can't change just because you will it or want it. You need to return to the Manufacturer and get your recall fixed so that God can mold you and put you back together and bring you out better, shinier, brighter, more valuable than before!!!!!
