#tlkoe #the last kids on earth #tlkoe fanart #jack sullivan #quint baker #june del toro #dirk savage #rover tlkoe #tlkoe rover #i also find it insane to think that. the current moment book 10 left off on. june and dirk have NO clue what happened back there #AND HEY DOES ANYONE WANT TO DISCUSS THE FACT PART OF JACK DIED??? like bardle literally told him that to his face WHAT DOES THAT MEAN #i also dont think rover would do that if he met sort of servant jack. i think hed just get really sad but still recognize him bc hes smart #like he knows thats his boy. but something Awful has happened to him #double deal context >> a completely unformed au. but one ive been conceptualizing #saw someone mention the deal from nightmare king. and my thought is that was basically a one time offer. like get in early help rezzoch out #and hell protect you. but now jack is like firmly making a stance against him with stolen power and stuff i think rezzoch knows he couldnt #trust him. but double deal it think jack brings it back up and it reminds rezzoch this kid is SO easy to manipulate if u use his friends #jacks like ok well ill serve you if you protect my friends and BRING BACK QUINT and rezzochs like RIGHT THAT KID damn. ok yknow what. sure #and jack has effectively the same role as shallabal in f4 first steps #and like. rezzoch kind of just restores earth. they have to figure out how to get good monsters home but he makes everything normal and saf #so the rest of the kids go home with their families and just have this like. haunting reminder every time they see their families. jack #sacrificed himself for them to have that. also a kick in the ass bc jack has no family to remember him or even like statues like quint and #dirk. he was just an orphan no one wanted who sacrificed his humanity and life with his new family to save the world that kinda rejected hi #i called it double deal cuz like. its the two deals they attempted. rezzochs offer + jacks offer #i also want to say he ultimately does defeat rezzoch but itd be much more cosmic and complicated and i dont want to think that thru #other thought on book 10. i think jack is still not quite human. hes still the cosmic general. he doesnt have the arm but he has the powers #the hammer is like. a convenient amplifier. i think its cooler if jack is just sort of this brand new cosmic beast in a human body and even #he doesnt really know
