A South Korean ship was spotted dead in the water outside the New York City harbor. The first two teams sent out to investigate disappeared without word, and eventually the Coast Guard towed the ship to shore. The moment that she landed, the outbreak started – hoards of the undead flooding from the rusted depths of the dead ship and spilling over onto the docks. Within a week the entire city had been overrun, forcing survivors into hiding inside and on top of buildings. The only movement in the streets are from the thousands of 'chompers' that mill around waiting for something fresh and living to devour. Trapped inside the historical twelve story apartment affectionately named “The Wexley”, known for it’s mishmash of architectural styles that somehow make it charmingly ugly, it’s residents did what they can to survive through infected bats, coup d'etat or two, and luck both good and bad.
Two years since the infection and the fall of The United States, The residents of The Wexley have managed to secure themselves a piece of the city around the lower third of central park, reinforcing it's barrier enough to comfortably establish themselves a society of survivors of all immunities. Dubbed The Wexley Township after the main building that had sustained them for so long, and run by it's elected council, it boasts a farm, some livestock, the Modern Art Museum, the ice rink, pond, and even a theatre! As long as you agree to follow their rules, the residents of The Wexley Township are always ready to welcome new survivors with open arms. Have you found your home sweet home in the apocalypse?
