Staying on Track
I noticed a few weeks ago that I got off track with my nutrition. I do not pay attention to the scale very often because to me that is not as important as how I feel. I felt funny, my skin was breaking out, and my stomach was acting up. That was a sign to me that it was time to check my diet and get back on track. I checked the scale and noticed it was up 3 pounds which explained why I was feeling uncomfortable and why my skin had been acting up. What better way than a 21 Day Challenge to reboot my system, feel better, and get back to my "norm."
The 21 Day Challenge has 2 phases: Detox Cleanse and Fat Burning
I am on day 3 of phase 1, and this what I am doing:
Phase 1: The focus of the detox is to cleanse your system of toxins and curb cravings for sweets and other fatty foods. To help with this process you take the 7 Day Cleansing System, OPC-3, multivitamin, TLS CORE Fat & Crab Inhibitor, with the option of Whey Protein Shakes.
What do you eat?
1. Vegetables
2. Some Fruit
3. Protein
4. Good Fat
And to drink?
Water, Water, Water!
Challenges:
So far my biggest challenge is not having COFFEE!! I have about 3 cups a day normally but it is not a part of the 21Days. To counter I need to drink more water to help with the caffeine withdrawal and make sure I am following the plan.
My other challenge is getting enough food- planning is key! Today I packed carrots, spinach and a whey protein shake to work. This was crucial so I would not get any food from work that is not TLS compliant.
