Option 1- The Hierophant This card is about traditionalism and prioritizing the collective, so I feel this admin job is something the people around you “expect” you to do almost. Following the well worn path isn’t always a bad thing, but if a more conventional lifestyle doesn’t sound good to you, this may not be the right path. However, with this being a Major Arcana, I feel this job may last long for you.

Option 2- Six of Cups Already I get the sense there’s more attachment to this option since it’s the Cup Suit. This card is about nostalgia and revisiting the past- maybe this option may make you more free to travel back home if you need, or it may remind you of something nostalgic in some way. While this card is normally a happy, harmonious one, The Last Unicorn’s version makes me feel it’s a sort of complicated happiness. The scene here is when Molly Grue finally meets the unicorn after desperately wishing one would come to her since she was a child, and now feels distraught that she would come to her decades later, when she is no longer innocent and youthful. However the unicorn restores that nostalgia and child-like passion within her and they can move forward together. Being a Minor Arcana this part time job could be transitional and you will move on to something else.

What You Need to Know to Decide- The Lovers I get the strong sense this card is asking you to stop thinking about what’s expected of you and think about what you really want to do and what will make you happy. The Lovers also comes right after The Hierophant and shows you that after you learn the code of society, it’s okay to make up your own to follow. Both The Lovers and the Six of Cups also share the same number (6), which may be pointing you in that direction. Or, you may feel the first path is right for you- The Lovers isn’t asking you to fully disregard The Hierophant, only to decide what its teachings mean for you.
