about worms

so i’m on my second playthrough of the Magnus Archives, and Martin’s description of Jane’s worms jumping 6ft tall toward his face made me cracked (again).
the reason is that, in my elementary school days we used to have those lab classes. it’s not really in a lab setting, just kids doing stupid shit. and our teacher (very crazily) brought earthworms for us to observe. she just caught them outside of the school garden and brought them to us (lmfao).
it can be super hot in my hometown, thus many mosquitoes. some kids would carry insect repellents to school, so did one of my teammates. he sprayed a little around, and i guess it sprayed on the worm and IT FUCKING JUMPED SO FUCKING HIGH I WAS LIKE WAT
luckily it lands on the table and didn’t tried to do that again, every one of our group was completely shocked and spent the most quiet moment elementary kids can have. and we all wrote this in our lab report. but those lab reports were never graded so i guess our teacher didn’t bother to read lol
anyway Martin my man i really feel you there those little creatures are CRAZY😭😭😭
