Evaline, another Fatui oc because hell yeah

Story time!!

The Moth, unlike other Fatui Harbingers, does not have her own faction of Fatui grunts. In fact, she only has one; Evaline. Eva is originally from Natlan, though her mother fled from her abusive husband to Snezhnaya, but died when Eva was around 12. Eva was taken in to the house of the hearth briefly, but due to her sensitivity and tendency for violence, had to be isolated from the other children. The Moth one day visited the orphanage, and Evaline caught her eye. After politely requesting from the Knave, she took the child from the orphanage and took her in. The moth both raised and trained Evaline, as a teacher and a caretaker, and Eva's tendency to violence turned into blind loyalty to the Moth instead. When she was old enough, she was integrated into the Fatui and became the sole attendant and guard of the Moth.

Fun facts about Evaline:

- She has heterochromia (one green and one ice blue) ((because I couldn't decide lol))

- She is selectively mute and only talks occasionally

- She does not respond to the orders of any other Harbinger. This has caused some issues in the past, but the Jester has pardoned her on request of the Moth.

- Due to her position, her uniform would have been the one belonging to the Harbingers' second-in-commands' (if any).... But the Moth liked the colours of the low-rank Fatui grunt uniform.

- She does not like Dottore. At all. And vice versa.

(not sure if u are but) dont get down on urself for feeling unmotivated atm! creativity has cycles and theres always going to be lows and highs! we'll be here to support TMATH whenever u & yami are ready! ur guys' mental wellness takes priority :)

Is tmath still being worked on? Or is it an abandoned project?

The short answer - it’s not abandoned yet; we’re just tired. The long answer - it’s being worked on..... just very, very slowly. Real life stuff takes priority and we’ve both also just been feeling a little unmotivated/uninspired and while we still love this AU dearly, we don’t want to force ourselves to work on it if we aren’t in the mood to.

Tmath is so good! Is it still being updated?!

Ah, thank you so much!! It makes me really happy to hear people are still enjoying TMATH despite the fact that we’ve been on hiatus. As for updates, @yamiheart​ and I have both been taking a much needed break from the tale, so honestly, I can’t promise any updates anytime soon. It’s always in the back of our minds though and we have a lot of love for the story.

I’m going to be reviewing some basic category theory things (as well as other topics), so I’ll be sporadically posting what I’m thinking about/understanding here (in addition to the uʒ), just as a way of grasping and clarifying my thoughts!

Once I start, I’ll be willing to answer any questions if anyone’s curious about what I’m doing, or if, for example, something I posted didn’t make sense, or you don’t have sufficient background for something, etc.!
