“Baby Driver,” Edgar Wright’s newest piece of work, premiered at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Festival on Saturday, March 11, 2017. It is already receiving glowing reviews and generating much talk.
Wright is the director of such cult classics as “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World,” “Hot Fuzz,” and “Shaun of the Dead.” He says he has been sitting on the idea for “Baby Driver” for two decades.
**I’ve never really had a desire to RP an OC on here. The only time I’ve ever really played OCs was during things like D&D campaigns where it’s kind of a requirement. I also tend to figure that there’s a wide variety of canon characters in Naruto, so there should be one to fit just about everyone.
"Let's go be bad guys!" He was tired of being treated like one when he hadn't even been /acting/ like one.
Sentence Starters! {Firefly Addition}
"Let’s go be bad guys!"
Being under the impression that his words carried the utmost sincerity, she actually considered the prospect of being ‘bad guys.’ That was a rather broad statement but if it meant what she initially though, then yeah—she was pretty bad.
“Sure. Let’s, ‘go be bad guys.’ But I’m not breaking into a pet store with you, nuh uh.” Zeini tapped her chin once, twice, three times, until her eyes landed on a building so marvelously rich it was too much of a treat to pass up. “There—the jewelry store. Let’s rob it. I could use some new earrings.”
(tmblake requested ‘before the beginning’ + POV, so I’ve combined your two requests, if that’s alright.)
POV — something that’s already happened, retold from another character’s perspective.
BEFORE THE BEGINNING — three sentences (or more) about something that happened before the plot of my current project.

They’re on the roof of one of Gotham’s innumerable (useless) municipal buildings, hunting members of Gordon’s tiny resistance force, when Bane hears it - the voice of a child, high and clear, saying:
"Batman’s not gonna come and save us, is he?"
He comes to a halt, head tilted. His men pause behind him, also listening.
"Batman will come," someone else replies. Adult male, young, Bane notes idly. The voices are coming from the alley below them. "But it doesn’t matter, in the end, if he does or doesn’t. We need to take Gotham back on our own."
Curious, Bane makes his way silently to the edge of the building and peers over the side. Spots two people standing in the lee of the building - a young man and a child. The man is carefully prying the security screen off the window.
Bane nods, satisfied. Whoever it is below, risking their lives by skirting curfew, is not their quarry.
"They’re after the medical supplies," Petrov mutters at Bane’s side. Bane nods in agreement. Petrov unslings his rifle dispassionately.
"Spare the child," Bane says quietly. Petrov nods.
Below them, the young man continues talking, oblivious to his impending death. “If we’re gonna have any hope of making things better after this is over,” he says, “we’re the ones who have to do it. Batman’s not supposed to save us. We need to save ourselves.”
Bane blinks, amused.
Petrov lifts his rifle, sights along the scope—
Bane raises his hand.
Petrov stops immediately - confused, but nevertheless obedient.
“That’s not what you used to say,” they hear the boy say. Bane recognises the lightness in his voice as hope.
“Yeah, well… I’ve had a lot of time to think about it.”
Bane smiles. Hope, faith, and belief. The quiet poisons of the soul. Would that he could have recorded that conversation somehow, and sent it to Wayne to listen to…well. It's no matter. The knowledge that his plan, Talia’s plan, is working is satisfying enough.
He watches in silence as the young man boosts the boy through the window. Less than five minutes later, the boy returns. He shovels a small backpack - now filled to the brim with what are undoubtedly medical supplies - through the window, out to the young man standing guard, then clambers out.
Bane keeps his hand raised as the pair make their escape from the alley, the young man clutching their prized haul protectively. No one says a word until they’re well out of sight.
Petrov spits contemplatively on the ground. “They will never know how lucky they were.”
Bane shrugs and turns away. “Luck,” he says, “is merely opportunity seized.”

"Hmmm?" Gaara hummed quietly to himself as he stumbled upon the stranger as he traveled along the path towards Konoha. "Hello, you there." Gaara called out lowly, "Who might you be?"
