so I'm continuing my watch of s2 of The Mysterious Cities of Gold and...

HOLLY SHIT, AN OLMEC. no joke, when i was little, i had nightmares about them. ...he is doing his best Nosferatu impression, though.

okay so i'm watching more of TMCoG, they are in the temple, and there is this one, super-shifty-looking monk

in fact, he constantly looks angry.

then, SOMEONE tries to kill Esteban, and then SOMEONE appears to be a traitor that let the bandits in through sewers (because, as Spoony says, there is always a sewer level)

and i'm thinking... he has to be the reddest of herrings, right?

but no, he IS the most obvious villain.

and he does make the derpiest face when Esteban kung-fu's him into a well:
