In honor of the 29th and 25th anniversary of the release of the first and third movie in Disney’s The Mighty Ducks movie and due to the recent surge of interest in the franchise from the premiere of The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers. I am going to host a fandom week over the first week of October in order to promote fanworks and love for the film franchise (sorry cartoon people, this is a movies + Game Changers only deal).

All characters, ships and content are welcome. No character, ship bashing will be tolerated. The way this will be go is that there will be prompts for 9 of the 10 days to inspire fanfiction, fanart, gif sets/edits, fancams, meta or whatever else. You do not need to participate for every single day, but try to post on the dates that you are fulfilling a prompt and labelling/tagging it as such so we can group it together. To keep things organize please tag all promotions and works with #tmdweek and #tmd week.  Please follow this blog for more details and to keep up to date on the stuff that I hope will come in. See the read more for more details and prompts.

There are no length or other requirements, just any work you post needs to be finished (whatever that means to you).

In order to help the planners among us here is the prompts for each of the days. There are main prompts which all works submitted tagged for that day must relate to (this will be interpreted as broadly as possible). Then there are sub-prompts, which are optional. You can post something for a day starting on that day, but if we’re on day 5 and you do something that pertains to Day 2 you can post, but if you have something for Day 7 you have to wait for Day 7 to come along.

A collection will be formed and opened on AO3 before the event begins.
