For some reason comedies can really hard for me to sit through….. like while watching “identity theft” i kept cringing because i felt SO BAD for the main character and ESPECIALLY bad that he was so incompetent in solving his problems. However I VERRRYYYY much enjoyed “bad words” even though the mc is somewhat insufferable(but likeable at the end). I think the reason for my different reactions is in Identity Theft the mc is screwed by the plot, but in Bad Words the mc screws the plot.

OK new post because this has no relevance to the post I just saw, but the person wrote:

"Ex-fucking-cuse me?"

And I think it ought to be:

"Ex-fucking-scuse me?"

I think the sound represented by xc is actually three consonants, k-s-k, and the point of separability is between the first two, not the last two, and I think sound is more important than spelling when you're doing this*.
