NEW YORK CITY PRIDE: ᴛʜᴇ sᴘɪʀɪᴛ ᴏғ sᴛᴏɴᴇᴡᴀʟʟ ʟɪᴠᴇs ᴏɴ

It’s nearly the end of June, but that doesn’t stop NYC Pride from making the last weekend into a good one. We here at Taking Manhattan Glee RPG also want to commemorate the activism that was grown from the Stonewall Riots and on by recognizing this important, powerful movement that affects not only our characters, but our members as well. Thus, I want to wish everyone a very happy Pride Month, as well as encourage everyone to participate in the events listed below that will make up this weekend.

Again, I want to encourage everyone to participate in these events. As I imagine that there will be in real life, a group-oriented After Party for the VIP Rooftop Party will commence immediately at 10:00 P.M. EST, and while everyone in the group could be invited/find themselves at the party, it can be up to you on how that is achieved.

This is our first dashboard-based event, but on the horizon will be a Fourth of July-themed event, so be on the watch for that! Until then, I want to wish you all again a happy month of Pride and my deepest gratitude for all of you being here.

GOOD MORNING, NEW YORK

Hello, followers of Blue Collar Glee RPG and any new members of our after-hiatus revamp: Taking Manhattan. First of all, allow me to thank you from the bottom of my heart for any continued support that has been offered. Blue Collar Glee RPG was my biggest endeavor ever as an Admin and it grew to be way more of a success than I could have ever imagined while starting out. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that we’ve met so many amazing people with the process and we’ve begun beautiful stories and I, for one, would have trouble letting them go.

It is for that reason that from the minds of the creator and members of Blue Collar Glee RPG do we bring you the sequel: Taking Manhattan. Set a year after the events of Blue Collar, Taking Manhattan features many of the same faces that were seen around the Piggly Wiggly in Lima, Ohio as they find themselves all in the same city yet again. With some new faces added in drama is brewing under the surface already and not even the safety net of a mutual hometown can save anyone now.

From stage performers to business owners, writers and photographers -- Taking Manhattan brings the gritty and the gruesome to light in a way that Blue Collar never could. And so, it is with great honor that I, Bee, welcome you to the world of Taking Manhattan -- premiering on May 5th, 2017. Please, take a look around and see if you want to be part of it!
