the curious case of... why does our (my?) cat only ever attack me when my roommate (ex) is home. jiji's always (usually) so sweet when it's just me and him, i definitely notice an uptake in aggression (towards me) when another person is home.

am i better at reading his signs? is he less on edge? but when my roommate is home, he always sits on their chest all the same. it's odd. when they are home, jiji will try to attack me almost once a day. but now it's been days.

it's nice to not be covered in scratches, all the same.
