the two sat in jess’, valerie sipping at some over-priced, overly complicated coffee drink as her eyes wandered to the other people in the shop.  “ look at all these people. these normal, non-traumatized people. ” her voice was low enough to be considered a whisper, yet loud enough for terra to hear her from across their table.
