Summary/Request: "Surprise, I’m pregnant!" With Morgan Rielly
Warning: fluff
Author’s Note: so I decided to do this bullet-point style because today was quite busy but I hope it’s still kind of what you were looking for anon 😊 It’s short, sweet and fluffy just like I assume Mo is in a relationship. This is my last request for a bit, I’m sure I’ll make a big post about when I’m taking requests again but, until then, if you see me posting a bunch of fics and stuff, it’s just all stuff that I’ve been trying to work on for a while but haven’t had a chance to get back to. Thanks loves and I hope you enjoy! Stay Golden, <3!

Mo gives me soft supportive boyfriend vibes
I mean look at that smile
So obviously the sex was soft and sweet and he always made sure you finished
You weren’t nervous to tell him you were pregnant
You were nervous to be pregnant
But not to tell him
You knew he’d be excited, even though the two of you were too young to have a baby
He came home from practice one day and noticed you biting your nails on the couch
“What’s wrong?” he asked
“We always use a condom right?” you replied, standing up and turning to face him
“Of course”
You stayed silent for a second, hoping he’d get it but he just shook his head when you didn’t speak
“Surprise!” you said, raising your hands to your shoulders, doing jazz hands unintentionally, “I’m pregnant”
“What?” he gasped
“I guess it’s true, what they say,” you said, “condoms aren’t 100% effective”
“You’re pregnant”
“Yeah”
“We’re gonna have a baby?”
“Do you want to have a baby?” you asked
“Yes!” he exclaimed, “I mean I didn’t think it would be now but that’s okay! I’m gonna be a dad”
He wrapped his arms tightly around you before he covered your face in kisses
You laughed at his excitement
“Okay! Okay!” you giggled, trying to escape
“I want to be at every ultrasound appointment,” he insisted, “I want to be there every step of the way. If there’s anything I can do, I wanna know what it is.”
It was sweet
If not a little overwhelming
And he was true to his word. He went to every appointment, every class, bought all the books that people suggested, got the best cribs and strollers and the safest toys and bottles. He bought matching outfits if it was a boy and matching outfits it it was a girl
He was learning things that you didn’t even know and that no one had told you
You were starting to think he was getting his fact and fiction mixed up
Around the eighth month is when everything was agitating you
The sound of people breathing or chewing, when you couldn’t find the remote, when your favourite clothes looked smaller on the hanger than they ever had before and then there was Morgan
With his eagerness and his positivity and his facts
“MORGAN!” you yelled as he spouted facts from the kitchen, “STOP! I AM BEGGING YOU! I don’t want to hear any of it anymore. I am the size of a elephant, I can’t reach or see my feet, I’m hot all the time, everything makes me sick or I want to eat it all. I have 14 weeks left and I don’t need to hear all these random facts you’ve learned. I love you, I do, but you’re driving me insane!”
After that he was pretty silent, trying not to irritate you or cause you any undue stress
But he was still as supportive as ever when you finally did go into labour
“I love you, baby” he said as the two of you got settled into a room
You had been there for nearly 12 hours before you were fully dilated
“It’s time?” Morgan asked
“You’re panicking! Why are you panicking?! Don’t you dare get scared on me now Rielly!” you growled
“I’m not panicking!” he insisted, “no no I’m just excited. It’s time!”
You glared at him, not believing that he was calm or excited in that moment but when the doctor told you it was time to push, you pushed
And pushed
And pushed
And pushed
And pushed
“I can’t do it anymore,” you whined, “I’m so tired”
“You’re doing so good, baby,” Morgan whispered, kissing your forehead, “you’re almost there. Our little one is almost here”
“I can’t,” you cried, “it hurts so much. I’m so tired, I don’t wanna do it”
“(Y/N), my love, you are so strong. You can do this, only a little bit more and you’ll finally be able to meet our son”
“It’s not a boy” you said through laboured breaths
“You’ll get to meet our daughter then,” he smirked, “but you have to keep pushing”
You nodded and continued to push, the sound of your baby’s crying suddenly filling the room as you dropped your head back onto the pillow
“You have a beautiful baby boy” the doctor said and you saw Mo’s face stream with tears of joy
“Are you sure?” you asked, “I was sure it was a girl” the doctor laughed
“Do you have a name?” they asked
You and Mo looked at each other as the doctor brought your newborn to you, resting him on your chest
Mo smiled at you and you smiled back with tired eyes before nodding to him
“Aidan” he said quietly, smiling at you and your son
“He’s beautiful” you whispered
“He really is”
“We’ll leave you for a minute and be back to do some tests shortly” the doctor said, directing everyone out of the room
“We have a son” you said, as if you were shocked by the news
“We’re parents” Morgan added
“We’re gonna be tired forever now” you joked
“But it’ll be so worth it” he replied
“Yeah,” you smiled at your son, his hand grabbing onto your finger as Morgan kissed his forehead, “it will.”
