After weeks of being held captive in the King’s dungeon, Mona Graves was given one last chance to give up information about Caelan and his whereabouts in exchange for a lesser punishment. She remained steadfast in not speaking, preferring her death penalty over a lifetime of imprisonment, however, in the morning of her scheduled public execution, the knights came to find that she had somehow managed to escape. The knights who were assigned to keep watch of her the night before were also nowhere to be found, leading the King to believe that traitors had infiltrated the King’s guard.

Consumed with paranoia, Arthur declared that no one in the palace could be trusted. All the servants, knights, navymen, and other officials are to be thoroughly questioned and investigated by their commanders and supervisers. The knights and navymen especially are still under close watch in hopes of weeding out any possible traitors and so should ANY suspicion arise in regards to an officier’s loyalty to the king, they are to be dismissed immediately. If that suspicion were to be proven legitimate, the treachery shall be punishable by death.

Any citizen of Valencia holding any information about the Titans will be granted a monatary award should their claims be proven true and lead to the capture of a Titan. Those who choose to step forward will be granted the right to remain anonymous to the public and to the person in question should they wish. False claims have risen since the announcement as the declining economy has driven many of the lower class to do whatever it takes to get their next meal on the table, even if it means endangering a neighbor’s life by falsely tarnishing their name.

THIS IS PART ONE OF OUR PLOTDROP. Please feel free to post starters with your characters’ reactions before shit really hits the fan. And plot with each other! This is a perfect opportunity for your character to screw someone else over (whether by choice or by force) or to have your character get screwed over and labeled a Titan (whether it’s a false claim or not) Remember, you guys are in control of the narrative, we’re simply here to give you the fuel you need to advance your plots so go crazy and have fun!

Given the age of this rpg and the consistent decline in activity, we admins feel we have no choice but to bring things to a close here at TML. That’s not to say that we’ll be putting the rpg on an indefinite hiatus, some of us have been playing these characters for almost four years and we know there’s a good handful of you who’d like to keep writing for them (us admins included) and so we’ve decided that the best course of action will be to privatize the group and basically give you all free reign as to what you can write. What does this mean exactly?

For one, we won’t be promoing nor actively looking for new members as we’ve resigned to the fact that most rpers are looking for something brand new and would rather not catch up with a year’s worth of plotting (if someone happens upon the rpg and would like to join, we’ll take that in a case by case basis as to whether or not we’ll allow them in.) 

Secondly, we’ll do our best to wrap up the current plot by posting events and plot drops here and there, and ask that all our members keep up with their threads so we can all get some closure, but that’s pretty much the extent of our involvement plot wise as admins. The rest is in your hands. If you’d like to do an au, plot a thread in a past life or a thread that takes place during your character’s time as a god, you’re free to do so without our permission. For those of you who are familiar with indie rping, this will essentially be like an indie rp group (??? that makes no sense, but hear me out). You’ll have the creative freedom that comes with indie rping, not following one singular plot and able to have multiple threads that take place in different “verses”. However unlike indie rping, we’re only allowing you to role-play with those inside the group and would require that you all keep up activity with your threads pertaining to the valencia verse until we finish it up (which should be soon).

If anyone has any questions or concerns please contact us! We’re doing this because we know there are many of you who want to continue your characters’ stories, but we admins can’t devote the same amount of time and effort in keeping this plot going as we did before and we’re hoping that in giving you all the freedom to write what you’d like, muse and activity will pick up and stay up with whoever we have left regardless of whether or not we’re keeping the main active. 

That being said, there are many of you who we aren’t sure if you have left us already or are still interested in staying, so if you are interested in continuing to write in this group, please send us a message letting us know, and let us know what characters you intend to keep if you currently have more than one (this is a good chance for you to drop a character or pick another one up if your muse has ran dry but you’d still like to stay). 

You have until July 21st to message us before we start posting the unfollows! 

In the meantime, this post marks the privatization of the group, so you can all have fun plotting with each other and setting up some new verses while we work on the next plot drop :)

Greek week is officially over, which means you’re all free to post starters and carry on with threads that take place during our regular plot. You can still wrap up your Greek Week threads and paras, but we ask that you don’t post anymore starters regarding the event and to focus on the main plot instead. We hope you guys enjoyed it! And remember, for this Greek Week event we want you to post another self para about your characters’ dreams except this time we want them to relive a single memory in the dream and remember every detail of it when they wake up. 

This does not mean that the curse is broken, it’s just a sign that it’s beginning to wear off for some reason, and most characters will still write these dreams off as nothing. The para is optional and having them remember a memory in detail is also optional, so if you’d rather the dreams remain obscured, that’s totally up to you, but we’re putting a limit on it being just one memory that they dream about-- NOT all of their memories. All self paras should be tagged tmlevent007 so we can all keep track of them, and like this post so we know you’ve seen it :)

GREEK WEEK HAS OFFICIAL BEGUN. Most of you know how this works already, but under the cut you’ll find a detailed explanation of what Greek Week entails in case this is your first one! If anyone is confused and still has questions after reading this post, please don’t be afraid to message the main. Also, please like this post so we know that you’ve read it, and remember to tag all greek week starters with tmlevent007 and label the post heading as [Greek Week]. 

What is Greek Week?

During Greek Week we take a pause from our current plot set in 1580 Albion, Valencia, and go back in time to when all of our characters were still gods, unaffected by the curse. We ask that everyone takes a pause from their current threads to focus only on their Greek Week threads so that the dash doesn’t get too confusing.

You can post a starter and start a thread/para at any point in time during the gods’ lives so long as it takes place before the primordials placed the curse on them. You can not post starters that take place after this as that would already be the start of one of the gods’ lives as a mortal and that’s not what this event is for. We’re exploring their past lives solely as their god selves, not as one of their other mortal lives.

Why do we do Greek Week?

We all know the myths behind our characters, but there is only so much those myths can tell us about who the gods were as people and exactly what sort of relationships they had with others. Greek Week is supposed to help us fill in those important details and gives everyone a chance to make connections in the past that can affect how they react to certain things in the present plot, especially since they are going to be slowly remembering this past in their current lives as mortals. It’s important to know who these characters were before, to better understand and develop who they are now.

How is Greek Week going to affect the main plot?

Everything that you plot out and thread during Greek Week can manifest in the current main plot through your characters dreams. They will be having dreams about these memories, dreams that won’t make sense to them, dreams that most of them will brush off as nothing. As time and the plot progresses though, these dreams will be harder to ignore, and some of them might start to suspect that there is more truth to these dreams than they would like to admit. We ask that everyone writes a para sample of their character experiencing and reacting to one of these dreams at the end of Greek Week, but for those of you who aren’t comfortable with jumping right into greek week and would rather write out a self para first, we won’t stop you, but please wait until we make the opening post for Greek Week before posting your self-paras.

– the specifics and mechanics of what to tag and how to label your starters for Greek Week will be mentioned in our opening post for the event, but if anyone has questions, please feel free to ask. Once we start, it’ll be easy to pick up on what to do and what Greek Week is because you’ll see how it works on the dash. :) Most importantly, just remember to have fun and take advantage of this opportunity to build up your muse!
